The Coalition to revise NC § 87-100 has evolved into the North Carolina Common Ground Alliance Regional Partnership and will work to have CGA Best Practices incorporated into North Carolina’s One Call Law.

NCUCA Legislative Committee - NCUCA utilizes a Committee-of-the Whole approach to its legislative policy and advocacy development. Proposals for action are brought before the Board of Directors for Policy and Resolution Adoption and delegated to the Association’s Registered Legislative Agent, ad hoc committees; such as the NCCGARP, or to the NCUCA-PAC for execution.

NCUCA's Legislative & Program Tracking Service - During sessions of the North Carolina General Assembly, NCUCA maintains a watch list of legislation that has the potential to affect the underground utility construction industry and monitors the status of these bills as they move through the Legislative process. Bill status is reported in The Pipeline newsletter and where action is needed, Legislative Alerts are distributed to the membership via email and fax.
